We are delighted to have been retained by a Two Partner Conveyancing Practice with offices in South East Essex. The Partners are interested in selling the Practice due to their approaching retirement, but would be willing to remain with the Practice as Consultants for a short while to smooth a transition.

Projected turnover for the current financial year is anticipated to be in the region of £720K and is made up approximately of Residential Conveyancing (90%), and Commercial Conveyancing (10%).

In addition to the 2 Partners, there is one other fee earner and 10½ full time equivalent support staff.

The leased offices of 1,758 sq. ft. are based on a busy main road, with local shops and other commercial premises. The Practice is based in an Essex dormitory town with excellent road and rail connections to the City.

This firm was originally the Essex office of a London Solicitors’ Practice but now has little local competition and is based in an expanding residential area with thousands of local residents and a growing number of industrial estates and commercial outlets. There is huge potential to develop this practice to incorporate other areas of law, such as, employment, general commercial work, matrimonial, etc.
