Leicestershire and Warwickshire Practice for Sale

We are delighted to have been retained by a Solicitors’ Practice with offices in Leicestershire and Warwickshire. The Partners are interested in selling the Practice as a going concern, although it is anticipated that at least two of the Partners would be willing to remain with the Practice as Consultants to smooth a transition.

Turnover for the last financial year was approximately £1M and is made up approximately of Residential Conveyancing (25%), Commercial Property (2%), Wills/Trust/Probate (21%), Matrimonial (16%), Crime (19%), Employment (3%), Personal Injury/Clin. Neg. (10%), General Commercial (1%) and miscellaneous (3%).

The Firm holds legal aid franchises in crime and family.

In total, there are 15 fee earners and 17 support staff.

The offices in Warwickshire are leased from a former Partner with security of tenure. The offices in Leicestershire, which have ample parking facilities for staff and clients, are owned by current and former Partners and would be available for leasing or freehold sale as appropriate.

This firm is an old established Practice that can trace its history back to the eighteenth century. As a result, there are several thousand wills and deeds and a substantial number of ongoing trusts and probates.
