We are delighted to have been retained by a Sole Practitioner Solicitors’ Practice based in a small market town on the North Kent coast. The Principal is interested in selling the Practice as a going concern due to retirement but might be prepared to remain after disposal for a short while to smooth a transition.

Turnover is in the region of £200,000 and was made up of approximately Residential Conveyancing [57%], Commercial Property [3%], Wills/Trust/Probate [26%], Matrimonial [6%], P I [2%] and miscellaneous [6%].

The Practice does not hold any legal aid franchises but has an extensive number of wills, deeds and EPAs.

The Practice is based in the centre of the town, with close proximity to the main line railway station for regular connections to London and is just a couple of minutes drive from the M2 with excellent links to Canterbury, Maidstone, Margate, Ramsgate and the Medway towns.

The offices have a “shop front” that faces on to a busy main road with continual passing footfall.

Apart from the full time Principal, there are no other fee earners but there are two full time equivalent support staff.

This Practice has phenomenal potential for growth as there is space for as many as ten staff. The Principal owns the freehold of the premises which would be available to Lease.
