We are delighted to be have been retained by a two partner solicitors’ practice on the Berkshire/Surrey borders. The partners would be interested in potentially merging the practice with a forward looking firm for the mutual benefit of all parties.

The Firm is located within the Golden Triangle of the M4/M3/M25 and is less than 10 miles from Heathrow Airport. The area is very much in a desirable "Stockbroker" belt with a large number of high net worth residents - both U.K. and foreign.

The offices have A2 planning use for professional and financial services and are situated at the junction of a busy main road with continual passing traffic. Free car parking facilities are adjacent and there is a national rail station with access to Waterloo and the City.

The partners own the freehold of the premises which are leased to the Firm. The offices are computer networked.

Income is circa £500,000 a year which comprises approximately residential conveyancing (30%), commercial conveyancing (10%), wills and probate (26%) and family law (34%).

The Firm holds a legal aid franchise in family law.

In addition to the two partners there are three fee earners and four support staff. The Firm holds more than 2,000 wills and a similar number of deeds.

The Firm is strategically located in an affluent area and has great potential for growth.

We believe this Practice would be of interest to provincial Firms wishing to gain a foothold to the West of London to develop their Commercial and Private Client bases in this increasingly attractive area.
