We are delighted to have been retained by a Two Partner Solicitors’ Practice based in Mid Essex that the Partners are interested in selling as a going concern due to their wish to pursue other activities but both would consider remaining as consultants after disposal to assist with a smooth transition.

Turnover last year was approximately £523,000 and was made up approximately of Residential Conveyancing [9%], Wills/Trust/Probate [4%], Commercial Property [1%], Private Matrimonial/Children [36%], Legally Aided Matrimonial/Children [35%], Contentious Employment [7%] Claimant Personal Injury [3%] and Miscellaneous Litigation [5%].

The Practice holds about 430 wills/EPAs and 323 deeds.

The Practice is in the centre of a thriving and expanding mid Essex town. It has close proximity to a national rail station for easy access to London and the Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. It has reasonably close proximity to the A12, A127, A128 and is about 20 minutes from the M25.

The Practice holds a Family/Matrimonial Legal Aid Franchise.

The Partners own the freehold premises where the Practice is based and occupies about 2,155 sq. ft. of office space, virtually directly opposite a major supermarket outlet. The freehold is worth in the region of £550K which would be available for sale or lease. These premises are more than adequate for the practice's current activities and offer room for future expansion.

Apart from the two Partners, there are 4 full time equivalent support staff.
