Seminars aand generating clients

Seminars are a proven way of making contact with new customers as well as keeping in touch with your existing client base.

However, locating and inviting the right people to attend can be both time consuming and difficult for your staff, not to mention expensive.

We offer a 'one-stop-shop' concept to help your run your own seminar without encountering these obstacles. The best way to explain our service is to use a case study. The example below is for a seminar aiming to generate employment related work:

1) We will purchase data from an appropriate data supplier to include, say, 250 of the largest employers [with a minimum of 50 employees or with a turnover greater than £2M] in the geographical area or industrial groups that are of interest to you.

2) Although we will endeavour to get a named HR Director contact from the data supplier, we will telephone each company to ascertain who is the correct contact. Having determined who the correct person is, we will then verbally give them an outline of the seminar, give them the date of the seminar and ask whether they would like to attend.

3) We will then follow this up with your covering letter together with the invitation, seminar literature, map etc. 3 to 5 days after the letter and formal invitation is sent, we will then follow up with a second phone call to check the literature has arrived safely and confirm their attendance or non-attendance as appropriate.

4) For those who are unwilling or unable to attend, we will try and identify the "Number 2" person and invite them instead. We will cover the cost of purchasing all the data, making all the calls, administration, postage and envelopes.

5) The only thing you will need to do is provide us with the literature, brochures and covering letters to go inside the envelopes. At the end of the whole exercise, we will provide you with a complete contact analysis and breakdown of all of the 250 target organisations. This will include contact names, addresses and telephone numbers together with an indication of what response we received when we invited them to the seminar.

6) We will do this at a fixed fee for each of the 250 target organisations. As indicated above, this is a complete cost and includes all data purchases, telephone calls, data entry, administration, postage and envelopes. By packaging the project in such a way, we can remove the entire administrative headache from you and let you concentrate on writing the seminar material and arranging the venue. In addition, we can host the event for you and act as an 'independent' Chairman to facilitate questions and discussions.
